The beaches of Montenegro
Montenegro is deservedly called the "Pearl of the Adriatic Sea". The country has a coastline of almost 300 meters with many beaches for every taste: sandy, nutty, rocky, wild and even nudist. In total there are 117 beaches in Montenegro with a total length of 73 km. It is interesting that the coastal waters of Montenegro are recognized as the cleanest in all of Europe.

The most visited beaches are part of the "Budva Riviera", which runs directly through the most touristy city of Montenegro - Budva and its surroundings. The composition of the Budva Riviera includes such popular beach resorts as Budva, Becici, Rafailovici, Przno, Milocer, St. Stephen, Petrovac, Sutomore and Bar. Most of the beaches are mostly sandy-nutted, and are protected from the sun by mountains and rocks. All the beaches are equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets, locker rooms and showers. Also, skilled rescuers are on duty on the beaches.
"Herceg Riviera" is located in Boka Kotor Bay, which is famous for its beauty, diversity of nature and magnificent scenery. In addition, many international publishers include the Boka Kotor Bay in the ratings of the most beautiful places in the world. The main beach resorts of the Herceg Riviera are Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat, Perast and Risan. Most of the beaches of the Riviera are stony or pebbly, but there are also artificial ones with small fine sand brought, or urban - concrete ones. Separate attention deserves the city of Igalo, which became known for its natural mineral springs, medicinal mud and a lot of SPA-salons.
The most unique beaches are the "Ulcinj Riviera", the hallmark of which is basalt sand, which has no analogues in the world. The beaches of the "Ulcinj Riviera" have a gray tinge due to the color of sand and are rich in mineral components, which have a slight healing effect. Ulcinj and the island of Ada Bojana are the most sought-after resorts of the Riviera.
